I realized that my last post was filled with a little bit of whine. I was in pain from my foot, and I had a whining moment?? Maybe?? Not a good Cabernet Sauvignon, or Red Zinfandel, or even a terrific Chardonnay, but I just had this very loud whine moment!!
I finally got my inserts into my shoes and wouldn't you believe it, the pain is not as bad in my foot anymore. It does depend on how long I wear the insert, as I need to wear them a little bit each day until I can go for the full day. I continue to switch on my walking boot to give my foot a break. My "recovery" (or way of life with my foot) is going to be a long road and something I just need to adjust to.
The same thing goes for losing all that extra weight I am carrying around. I need to adjust to a new way of life. I need to be working out on a daily basis. I need to cut back on the bad, concentrate on the good and before you know it I won't need to have the cheese, nor will I be looking to whine (okay - maybe a good glass of wine once a month maybe).
When you reach for your goals, whatever it might be, then you will eliminate the whine and you will be able to have more WINNING moments!!!
